China has 26 servers in total due to their large player base. 19 of them are named after the telecom company China Netcom and 6 of them are named after another telecom company China Telecom. EDU (Education Network Area) is a special server in China that functions as a tutorial server for new players. There are a few players in EDU who reach Challenger just to troll since it is meant for new players.
To play on Chinese servers you need a QQ account which is tied to your Chinese passport or other forms of official identification (this is similar to Korea). This means you must hold some form of official government issued Chinese identification to play in China. QQ is a number that used as your Chinese LoL login. You do not need to create 26 accounts to play on different servers. One QQ number/account can play on multiple different servers and have a different sub-account in each different server.
